“ The consumer can expect consistent quality in products and services! A Sunday morning trip to this Italian bakery is a "must ". ”
“ My husband and I were looking for breakfast food on the way home from WV, and this place was an accidental gem we stumbled upon! The food was delicious, the vibe was chill, eclectic, and homie, and the staff was super nice. Wish we could have ordered dessert to try, but we had to head out. Would try again if we come back to Bridgeport! ”
“ A gem in the heart of Bridgeport. . If you're traveling, it's worth the 5 minute drive from the interstate. Much more available than just coffee. ”
“ Great way to start the day...Avacado toast with goat cheese and an egg and a cup of fruit. Delicious..... Not the friendliest staff but yummy start to my day. ”
“ We stopped here today while visiting from Martinsburg. A friend of ours recommended this spot and glad we listened! We got the Mountain Mama breakfast sandwich and coffees. I also got a pistachio cannoli which was amazing! They also make huge pepperoni rolls which we ordered on our way out. The ladies working were very friendly. We will definitely return when in the area again! P.S. Go ORIOLES!!! ”
“ Great place for a coffee date or snack or desert with a wide range of each! Always clean and nice looking inside typically with nice look employees. Always super efficient with your orders and you'll have trouble finding something you don't like on the menu. Would highly recommend going any day of the week! ”
“ This was my first visit and I'm Beas thrilled to find gluten free dessert options. I picked these up for my birthday. Service was quick and professional. There were several customers coming in and out while I was there and most of them seemed to be repeat customers. There is a parking lot attached to the building and also one across the street. The inside was cozy-chic and clean. A cute establishment. They also have gluten free options available for breakfast and vegetarian. I look forward to stopping back in next time I'm in Clarksburg or passing through. Prices were reasonable for gf... about $5 an item. ”
“ Great lunch options for vegans and vegetarians here!! Our Buffalo-based family recently road-tripped down to the Bridgeport area for Christmas break to explore this part of WV. We decided to have lunch one day in the Bridgeport village area, which brought us to Almost Heaven Desserts. Yes, they have desserts of course, but they also have a nice menu of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and acai bowls too. Our family consists of a vegan and three vegetarians, and the menu had something for everyone! :-) Our vegan teen daughter had an acai bowl and avocado toast. My husband and I each ordered a vegetarian sandwich, one breakfast panini and one caprese mozzarella sandwich, and swapped halves to each try both. And our tween son had the pretzel bun breakfast sandwich with no sausage. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of all of our dietary needs. And the whole fam' was happy with our lunches! The sandwiches I shared with my husband were sizable and flavorful, both with yummy melty cheese. Our son was also happy with his cheesy breakfast sandwich. Our vegan daughter liked the avocado toast so much she asked for another. Since we were on vacay and she's such a healthy eater in general, we obliged. :-) So not to miss out on the restaurant's namesake, that being desserts, I had to try something--twist by arm! :-D They are known for their pies, so I went with a slice of their homemade peanut butter cream pie. Absolutely YUM. It was whipped and airy, but also very filling and decadent. If I had room to eat another slice, I would have! Delish'! My husband had a cinnamon roll, which was HUGE and delicious. The restaurant itself is fairly small, with a few small tables, mostly two-tops. We lucked out and hit it at a time when two two-tops next to each other were vacant, so we could slide them together. The tables stayed mostly full the whole time we were there, so dining in may be tricky. It looked like they had some outdoor seating for warmer seasons, which may make eating there easier in those times of the year. There is a reason you may run into long lines at the counter here--Almost Heaven Desserts indeed serves heavenly desserts! But they also have a nice lunch menu if you want to pre-game your divine dessert with a hearty homemade lunch. With a full barista coffee menu too, this makes for a lovely place to spend a sweet and savory afternoon. ”
“ This place is fab. Low key environment, high thread desserts, coffee, , açaí bowls, smoothies, sandwiches, paninis, salads, and more. It's super small inside, with 3-4 small tables for 2 people each. There are a couple of small tables outside. So plan to take your food to go unless you get lucky. Even "off times" are busy. I wish I could recommend my #1 fave item from here, but everything is good. Some of the best... vanilla latte, peanut butter pie, Chamborg cheesecake, Cobb salad with garlic dressing. You can't go wrong here. And be sure to walk across the street to Market on Main, as of March 2022, for some great finds. ”
